It has the same origin, morphological characteristics and is used for the same purposes as the Large Münsterländer, being different only in size and colour.
Description:
It is a medium-sized, brawny, powerful dog. The head is long, the skull is rounded and not too big, with a medium-sized muzzle and a brown nose. The eyes are medium-sized and brown. The ears are wide, with pointed tips and drooping. The tail is medium-sized, kept low or slightly curved upwards. The fur is double-layered with an outer layer with medium length, straight, glossy hair that is slightly wavy on its ears, tail and legs. Its colour can be brown and white, or white and brown.
Personality:
It is an intelligent, dynamic, active, friendly, cheerful and gentle dog. It is obedient and devoted to its master, affectionate and loving with children. It gets along well with other dogs and other animals in the household. It has a great sense of smell.
Grooming:
This dog's fur must be brushed regularly not to get tangled and to keep its pleasant look.
Living conditions:
It is a very strong dog with a high level of activity that enjoys exercising. It is recommended to active people that have time to tend it, to take it for long walks, swimming, to play fetch on land and water, to take it to agility and fly-ball contests and if possible to take it hunting. It can be kept in an apartment, but it feels better in an enclosed yard.
Training:
This dog is obedient, its eager to please its master and therefore is easy to train. With a gentle but consistent training one can obtain good results.
Usefulness:
It's a dog that can be used for any kind of game on any kind of field, but is also a discreet and pleasant companion.
